Zombicide #1

Here's a few quick pics of the Zombicide! figures that I have finished up.

I'll have to get around to taking pictures of the rest that I have completed and posting them up.

Year in Review: 2015

So, I finished up school a year ago (Jan 2015) and transitioned from LVN to RN at work. More responsibility, more pay. I went from being happily engaged to happily married, and a few months after that we got a surprise! He's due in April, and I'm looking forward to meeting him.

Work and husbanding (I know, it's not a word. Deal with it.) have taken up a lot of my time in 2015, but I did manage to do some other fun stuff. I've fell a bit behind with my painting and gaming projects, but that's to be expected when your priorities change. Thanks to the changes GW brought about, I'm less interested in pursuing some of my armies. However, I did discover the joy that is Zombicide (and, more recently, Zombicide: Black Plague ... fantasy version!) and have painted up quite a few of the figures for that.

In November, I tried my hand at NaNoWriMo and ... failed miserably. I'm not sure if it was a lack of energy after working all day, the distractions of the PS4 (SW:Battlefront and Fallout 4 in the same month?! Unfair!), a lack of drive, or just the feeling that what I was writing wasn't really going where I wanted it to. I suspect a combination of all of the above.

This year, I plan on writing a lot more, time permitting. The little one might not allow for it. We'll see what happens. Maybe I'll even keep this blog updated!
